ABOUT
We build the tool the estimator was missing
FutureCalc is a Swedish company building VVS takeoff with Meridian. Meet the team behind the platform where every metre is traceable to the drawing.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
Four things we do not negotiate
The drawing is the only source
No model may invent a dimension or a metre. What is not in the drawing is not in the quantity.
The same answer every time
The same drawing gives the same quantity, whoever uploads it and whenever. A reading you can build a tender on.
Uncertainty must be visible
A per-dimension split with a low hit rate is marked uncertain. A guessed number is more dangerous than a missing one.
The estimator decides
The result can be edited the same way as a manual takeoff. Every correction improves the next reading.
THE TEAM
Five people behind FutureCalc
Five people: two who have priced tenders by hand for years, two who build the model, one who keeps the company together.

From drawing recognition to a reviewed result
FutureCalc brings drawing annotation, quantity takeoff and costing into one workflow. The starting point is the PDF drawing and the work an estimator already understands: identify the right system, check the scale and follow each pipe run. Automation should make it easier to produce a result that can be reviewed, while keeping manual work available when the drawing requires it.
Meridian reads vector drawings in stages, from preparation and detection to assignment and measurement. The result must be assessed against what is actually on the sheet. When a designation is ambiguous or a run needs correcting, the user can review and edit the annotation. Manual takeoff remains part of the workflow, both as a reference for comparisons and as a way to handle drawings that cannot be read automatically.
The next step is to use the reviewed quantities in the estimate and export what the project needs. We describe the platform and model on separate pages so you can explore how these parts connect. Start with the product overview, then choose the part of the workflow that matters most to your own evaluation.
